Miroslav Naydenov

Miroslaw Christoforow Naydenov ( Miroslav Naydenov Hristoforov written, Bulgarian Мирослав Христофоров Найденов; born December 14, 1968 in Vratsa, Bulgaria) is a Bulgarian politician of the party GERB and current minister of agriculture of the country.

Life

Miroslaw Naydenov was born on 14 December 1968 in the town of Vratsa Balkan Mountains located in. After high school he graduated from the Thracian University in Stara Zagora in the field of veterinary medicine and has the title of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine ( a professional doctorate, and is awarded with graduation and in Germany the completion of the state exam equivalent ). During his studies Naydenov was secretary of the Komsomol of the Bulgarian Communist Party. After his graduation, he worked as the official veterinarian and veterinary in his hometown.

From 2002 to 2004 Naydenov was director of the Veterinary Office of the District Vratsa. In 2005 and 2006 he was Chief Secretary ( Bulg главен секретар ) of the State Veterinary Office based in Sofia. In 2006, he was after a scandal, which concerned the import of contaminated beef from Ireland, dismissed. In the same year he took up his position at a public company Ekorawnowesie ( Bulg Екоравновесие ) and soon became its Managing Director. During this time he was appointed to the expertise of the GERB party and prepared the program of the party for the upcoming parliamentary elections.

In the parliamentary elections of 2009 Naydenov was elected from the constituency Vratsa as a deputy to the Bulgarian Parliament. The elections could win GERB party for themselves. In the cabinet of Boyko Borisov Naydenov had since 27th July 2009 to the end of the reign in the spring of 2013, the post of Minister of Agriculture and Food.

In August 2013 he was among the founding members of the new Bulgarian party BASTA.
