Miroslav Å kovira

Miroslav Škovira ( born November 7, 1973 in Levoča, Czechoslovakia) is a Slovak ice hockey player who is under contract with SG Pontebba in the Italian Serie A1 since the end of January 2013.

Career

Škovira began his career in the 1991/92 season when SKP Poprad hp in the former Czechoslovak league. In the years 1991, 1992 and 1993 he was a member of the U18 and U20 Czechoslovak national ice hockey team. With two exceptions, 2000/ 01 he played a season in the Italian National League A for HC Bolzano and 2003/04, a season in the British Elite League at the Manchester Phoenix, he continues to play at HK Poprad in the Slovak Extraliga. In February 2007, he was obliged to end of the season of the Krefeld Penguins of the German Hockey League.

Miroslav Skovira stood by the Swiss Agency Highflyer Sports Management under contract that brought him into the DEL to Krefeld. He remained there, however, only a few months and completed only seven DEL games. He then moved back to the Slovak Extraliga, where he thus stood for his former club, the HK Poprad on the ice. For the season 2007/ 08, the leaders of the League rival MHK SkiPark Kežmarok him were able to see a commitment in Kežmarok. For the season 2009/10 he moved within the Slovak Extraliga to his former club SKP Poprad PS.

End of January 2013 he moved to Italy, where he signed with SG Pontebba from the Serie A1.
