Mirrorthrone

Mirror Throne is a one-man avant-garde metal project of Vladimir Cochet.

Band History

The band was founded in 2000 in Switzerland. In 2001 and 2002, two demo tapes were recorded by means of which the label Red Stream Inc. was aware of the band. In 2003, the first album Of Wind and Weeping which was well received by the metal scene. 2006 saw the second album Carriers of Dust. As the band got very positive feedback for the second album, another album was recorded and released in 2008 under the title of Gangrene.

Racism allegations

The lyrics to A Scream to Express the Hate of a Race has been interpreted by some people as racist, after Vladimir Cochet from racism, Nazis, White Pride and the like distant and stressed that the text is referring to the human race in its entirety.
