Missing (2012 TV series)

Missing is an American thriller series starring Ashley Judd, the 2012 was broadcast on the ABC television. In the series it comes to mother Rebecca Winstone, who learns that her son was kidnapped in Rome. She sets out to search for him and thereby opens a dark chapter in their past. The first broadcast in the United States took place between 15 March and 17 May 2012, ABC. In Germany, the series between the 5th and November 16, 2013 is shown in the night program at VOX.

Action

Rebecca " Becca " Winstone must reluctantly find that her 18- year-old son Michael is growing up and she has to let him go his own way. But Becca is difficult for this because she knows that her son had to watch as his father, CIA Agent Paul Winstone, was murdered. Although now 10 years have passed, yet they are reluctant to consent to Michael's study abroad in Italy.

A few weeks after the beginning of the semester, Michael disappears without a trace. Becca needs to realize that she gets no support from the state, so she sets out short hand himself on the way to Europe to track down her son. Just arrived in Rome, she begins hint after the kidnappers to collect. The kidnappers have to realize that they have created with the wrong woman, because Becca was like her husband worked in the service of the CIA. In search of her son, she must embark on former friends and view their own past.

Production

In January 2011, the ABC television series, the series for the summer of 2011 as a direct-to -series announced. Two months later signed the film actress Ashley Judd for the lead role. When her husband was, inter alia, cast in Game of Thrones -known actor Sean Bean. In April 2011, Cliff Curtis received another lead role. However, because there were delays in the occupation of the main central role, the series of summer 2011 has been postponed to spring 2012. The filming of the series took place from September 2 to October 5, 2011 in Prague, Vienna and Venice instead.

Due to low ratings, the series May 12, 2012 was issued. The squadron is complete in itself, even if there was a way to continue the series.
