Miyakonojo (Japanese都 城市, - shi) is a Japanese city in Miyazaki Prefecture on the southern Japanese island of Kyushu.
Geography
Miyakonojo is located west of Miyazaki and east of Kirishima.
History
The city was founded on April 1, 1924.
