Miyoko Asahina

Miyoko Asahina (朝 比 奈 三代 子, Miyoko Asahina, real name :高桥 三代 子, Miyoko Takahashi, * September 24, 1969 ) is a former Japanese long-distance runner.

In 1987, she was national champion in the 1500 m, 1989 m 10,000.

In 1992 she finished ninth at the Osaka Women's Marathon. In the World Half Marathon Championships in South Shields, she was fifth and won with the Japanese team gold. The following year saw a sixth place in Osaka a fourth place and a team silver medal at the World Half Marathon Championships in Brussels.

1994 Fifth in Osaka and won the Rotterdam Marathon. In 1995 she came to the 24th place at the Nagoya Marathon.
