MJ Cole

MJ Cole (born Matt Coleman, born 1973 ) is one of the most famous and successful British UK garage producer.

He was one of the first stars of the garage and remixed, among others, for Mariah Carey, De La Soul, Dido, Nitin Sawhney, and Gabriel Bran Van 3,000.

MJ Cole had worked for the drum -and- bass label SOUR and Ed Rush as a sound engineer, from mid-1996 he began to publish under his own name 2step. His early 2-Step Tune Sincere was one of the first garage - title, which reached the British Top 40.

Two years after the surprising success brought MJ Cole, a self-titled debut album out. For this album, he was nominated for the Mercury Prize.
