History
Mjøndalen IF founded in August 1910. Quickly established as the most important sport football within the club and in 1918 the team took part in the first cup competition. After several regional championships, the club won its first national title in 1933. With a 3-1 win over Viking Stavanger, he won the National Cup, which was defended in the following year with a 2-1 playoff victory after extra time against Sarpsborg FK.
