Mohaka Viaduct

The Mohaka Viaduct is the highest railway bridge in New Zealand.

The steel truss bridge is located over the railway line Palmerston North- Gisborne on the North Island of New Zealand between the stations Putorino and Raupunga. The route crosses the bridge over the Mohaka River. It has a height of 97 meters and 275 meters long. Its original appearance is affected by a windbreak panel that was mounted parallel to the road later.
