Mohamad Sadli

Mohammad Sadli ( born June 10, 1922 in Sumedang, Indonesia, † January 8, 2008 in Jakarta ) was an Indonesian politician.

Life

Mohammad Sadli was one of the " business architect " of the New Order era and a member of the so-called " Berkeley Mafia ".

He also served as Minister of Energy in the cabinet Pembangunan II. , Under President Suharto on 28 March 1973 to 28 March 1978, and Professor of Economics at the University of Indonesia

Sadli was married to Saparinah Sadli, a woman activist and psychologist at the University of Indonesia, who was also a member of the National Human Rights Commission Komnas HAM.

He died at the age of 85 years in Cikini Hospital in the Indonesian capital of Jakarta.
