Mohamed Elsayed

Mohamed Elsayed (born 22 April 1973) is a former Egyptian boxer. Elsayed won the bronze medal at the 2004 Olympics in the heavyweight division.

Career

Elsayed showed in 2002 for the first time at the international level as he the second, and took third place at a tournament in Baku at a tournament in Makhachkala. In the same year he also won a tournament in Kampala. In 2003, Elsayed at the world championships, but came to a win over Jason Douglas, Canada ( 19:13 ), and a defeat against Steffen Kretschmann, Germany (RSC ), not over the last sixteen out.
