Mohamed Kader

Mohamed Kader ( born April 8, 1979 in Sokodé; actually Mohamed Abdel Kader Touré Coubadja ) is a Togolese football player. He plays the position of striker.

After his debut at the Tunisian club CA Bizertin in 1997 he joined in 1999/2000 for FC Parma in the Italian Serie A, but where he could not prevail. The Parma loaned out to other clubs from Mohamed Kader: 1999/2000 to FC Lugano in Switzerland, 2000/ 01 to Al -Ahly Cairo in Egypt. 2001/ 02 he was playing at FC Parma, for a short time in Vicenza Calcio.

In 2002, he was hired again by a Swiss Verein, this time from Servette FC. There he remained for three years. 2003/2004 he scored 19 goals, so that was the second best scorer of the year ( behind Stéphane Chapuisat ) and was voted the best active abroad Togolese players. In the season 2005/ 06 he was in France at FC Sochaux under contract; currently he plays at EA Guingamp.

His first game for the Togolese national football squad Mohamed denied in July 1995. Overall, it was used in 85 international matches, scoring 54 goals. It is thus record player un scorer of Togo. He took four times of African Football championships (1998, 2000, 2002 and 2006) and was part of the squad at the World Cup 2006.

On 13 June 2006, succeeded Mohamed Kader in the group match against South Korea to achieve the first World Cup matches for Togo in World Cup 2006. The game itself won South Korea 2-1 (0-1).
