Mohamed Omar Habeb

Mohammed Omar Habeb Dhere (* 20th century, † November 15, 2012 in Mogadishu, Somalia ) was a warlord in Somalia's civil war and from April 2007 to autumn 2010, the mayor of the transitional government of Somalia, Mogadishu. He belonged to the clan of the Hawiye - Abgal.

Political life

DHères power base is Jawhar, in addition he also had influence in the nearby capital, Mogadishu. He supported the alliance temporarily Somali Reconciliation and Restoration Council against the transitional government of Somalia.
