Mohammad Gharazi

Mohammad Gharazi (Persian محمد غرضی; born October 5, 1941 in Isfahan) is an Iranian politician. He was a member of the Volksmodschahedin.

Life

Gharazi was 1981-1985 Petroleum Minister under President Ali Chamene'i, then to 1997, Minister of Post and Telecommunication of Iran under President Alī Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani. As one of eight candidates Gharazi was approved by the Guardian Council for the presidential election in Iran in 2013 on 21 May 2013.
