Mohammad Hashim Khan

Sardar Mohammad Hashim Khan ( 1885 * ();? † 1953) was an Afghan politician and Regent.

After his brother, King Mohammed Nadir Shah 's assassination, he was elected in 1933 along with his other brothers as Prime Minister regent for the first three years of successor Mohammed Zahir Shah. He had since 1929 held the post of Prime Minister and practiced this out until 1946. His reign was seen as authoritarian and conservative. He was succeeded by his brother Sardar Shah Mahmud Khan.
