Moïse Schwab

Moïse Schwab ( born September 18, 1839 in Paris, † February 8, 1918 ) was a French Jewish scholar, translator and librarian. After an education at a Jewish school in Strasbourg, he worked from 1857 to 1866 as Secretary of Salomon Munk, it for a year. Than legal translators in Paris, and finally in 1868 as a librarian at the French National Library His main work is a French translation of the Palestinian Talmud (Le Talmud de Jerusalem, 11 volumes, 1871 et seq.)
