Mokre Łany

Mokre Łany ( German: Mokrolohna ) is a district of Strzelce ( United Strehlitz ) and a mayor's office of the municipality Strzelce in Poland.

History

In the plebiscite in Upper Silesia on March 20, 1921 254 voters voted to remain in Germany and 390 for Poland. Mokrolohna remained with the German Reich. On January 1, 1931 Mokrolohna was incorporated into the city big Strehlitz. 1936, the town was renamed in meadow land. By 1945, the place was in the district of Great Strehlitz.

In 1945 the previously German place under Polish administration and the Silesian Voivodeship was connected and renamed June 28, 1948 in Mokre Łany. In 1950, the city came to Opole Voivodeship. In 1999 the place to re-founded powiat Strzelecki.
