Moldau-Stipendium
The Vltava scholarship is awarded since 1998 by the State of Hesse for artist residencies in " Egon Schiele Art Centrum " in Český Krumlov or Krumlov, Czech Republic on Hessian or living in Hesse artists of all artistic disciplines.
In this grant the State of Hesse paid (as of 2010) a grant of 1,000 euros for lodging and the use of an artist's studio and apartments including a one-time travel allowance of 250 euros.
In addition to the State of Hesse for German artist provides, inter alia, the province of Upper Austria there for artists of their region similar residencies. Fellows listed by Schiele Art Centrum also come also countries such as Australia, China, France and the United States.
Award
The fellows will be selected by the Hessian Ministry for Science and Art. The scholarship is designed for a period of one to two months. Applications are accepted each year until October 31 for the period from 1 January to 31 December. In addition to a biography, the application shall be accompanied by materials about current art and expectations for the stay in Český Krumlov and there introduce planned projects.
