Moldova at the 2002 Winter Olympics
Moldova adopted in 2002 for the third time in Olympic Winter Games in part. The country posted that competed in three disciplines. The Skilandläufer Ion Bucsa served at the opening ceremony as the flag bearer.
In the headlines, the country came when the German presenter Stefan Raab tried to run for the country in cross country skiing. In the end, given the Natinoale Olympic Committees Moldova Raab but a rejection.
