Molissa Fenley

Molissa Fenley (* 1954 in Las Vegas, Nevada) is an American dancer and choreographer.

Life

After schooling Molissa Fenley studied dance at Mills College in Oakland, before she went to New York City, where she gave her debut as a choreographer in 1978.

Although she created pieces for her own dance company, as well as other dance companies, their reputation established as a choreographer in particular the physically strenuous, high-energy solos as Eureka ( 1982), State of Darkness (1988) and Regions (1995).
