Momir Ilić ( born December 22, 1981 in Aranđelovac, Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian handball player. He plays for the Hungarian club KC Veszprém and the Serbian national team. His playing position is left back.

Ilić has a body length of 2.00 m and weighs 100 kg. He is married to Maja and has a professional training as an electrical engineer.

Career

RK Gorenje Velenje Momir Ilic took part in the Champions League and the EHF Cup. There he played with Vid Kavtičnik, who moved to Kiel and Vedran Zrnić, who played in Gummersbach with him later.

2006 Ilić went to Germany for VfL Gummersbach, with whom he won the 2009 EHF Cup. For the season 2009/10 he moved to Kiel. VfL Gummersbach received for the release Ilic, who was contractually bound actually to 2010 at the club, a transfer fee of 500,000 euros. When THW he signed a four year contract. With Kiel Ilić was both 2010 and 2012 Champions League winners as well as German champions. 2011, 2012 and 2013, he also won nor the DHB Cup. For the 2013/14 season Ilić joined the Hungarian Club KC Veszprém, where he signed a three-year contract.

With the national Ilić won the silver medal at the 2012 European Cup in their own country and was voted most valuable player of the tournament. In summer 2012, he participated in the Olympic Games in London.
