Momondo.de is a travel meta search engine, with headquarters in Copenhagen, which enables users, prices for airline tickets, compare hotels, rental cars and other travel deals. Price comparison sells itself no airline tickets and travel services, but also ensures an overview of available on the internet deals, and guides its users for posting to the relevant travel supplier on. The technology of Price comparison differs from other travel meta search engines, because they also gives the user an insight into the development of prices for air tickets and help with travel arrangements, the attractiveness of an airline ticket based on its price and flight duration to be determined.

History

Price comparison started in September 2006. At this time Price comparison a pure flight search engine. Now offers the Scandinavian market leader and a price comparison for hotels, rental cars and other travel deals.

In April 2011, Price comparison and its parent company Skygate by the British company Cheapflights Media Ltd (2012 renamed Momondo Group Ltd ) was acquired. Price comparison continues to exist as an independent brand and will continue to operate with its head office in Copenhagen.

Since its launch in Germany Price comparison could convince in different tests, including the consumer magazine Good advice November 2011, and in January 2012 and test computer image July 2013.
