Monatshefte für Mathematik

Monatshefte für Mathematik is a trade magazine for the whole spectrum of mathematics. It is published by Springer-Verlag.

The monthly magazine of Mathematics was founded in 1890 by Gustav von Escherich and Emil Weyr as Monatshefte of Mathematics and Physics and published until 1944 at the Academic Publishing Society, Vienna. In 1947, they were founded by Johann Radon as Monatshefte für Mathematik new and appear under this name since 1948 by Springer -Verlag. The monthly magazine published by the Austrian Mathematical Society with Springer -Verlag. Current editor in chief Adrian Constantin.

The impact factor of the journal was in 2012 at 0,698. In statistics, the Science Citation Index, they finished in 98th out of 295 journals in the category of mathematics.

Among other things, appeared in Monatshefte the famous Gödel's incompleteness theorem ( Volume 38 (1931 ), pp. 173 ff).
