Monica Lierhaus
Monica Christiane Lierhaus ( born May 25, 1970 in Hamburg ) is a German journalist and television presenter.
Life
In 1989, Lierhaus her high school in the Charlotte - Paulsen -Gymnasium in Hamburg, 1990, she began a study of English and German in Hamburg. She completed an internship with Sport Bild and was a freelancer for Radio Hamburg and Klassik Radio. In 1992, she broke her studies after the interim examination.
Lierhaus has the F license as a tennis coach. During her time at Sat.1 she was briefly romantically involved with Johannes B. Kerner.
On 9 January 2009 Lierhaus underwent an operation to remove a brain aneurysm leave. As complications arose, she was treated for four months in an induced coma. During this time, after which it was actively supported by her sister Eva. She then went into rehabilitation to train their impaired speech and movement ability.
Lierhaus has been living with Rolf Hellgardt, producer and former program director of the German private television station Kabel 1, together and became engaged to him in February 2011.
