Monica Macovei

Monica Macovei ( born February 4, 1959 in Bucharest ) is a Romanian politician of the Liberal Democratic Party.

Life

Macovei studied law at the University of Bucharest. From December 2004 to April 2007 Macovei was the successor of Tudor Chiuariu Minister of Justice in Romania in the first Cabinet of Calin Popescu - Tăriceanu. Since 2009 Macovei deputies in the European Parliament.
