Monte Penna

The Monte Penna is a mountain in the Ligurian Apennines, within the Natural Park aveto, and, with its 1,735 meters above sea level to the highest peaks in the region.

Together with the Monte Pennino he is depicted on the coat of arms of the nature park. Its northern slopes are relatively steep and are formed of bare basalt. In contrast, the south-facing slopes appear through its lush vegetation softer and more inviting.
