Montell Douglas

Montell Douglas ( born January 24, 1986 at the London Borough of Lewisham ) is a British sprinter.

In her youth she was high jumper, but switched to Sprint because of back problems.

In 2007, she won at the U23 European Championships in Debrecen silver over 100 meters. At the World Athletics Championships in Osaka, it reached more than 100 m the quarter-finals and came up with the British team in the 4 x 100 - meter relay team to fourth place.

In 2008 she broke the 100m 27-year- old British record by Kathy Cook. At the Olympic Games in Beijing, she reached over 100 m to the quarterfinals. The British 4 x 100 -meter relay race did not reach the finals after a change error between Douglas and Emily Freeman the goal.

At the 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi, she left about 100 meters from the semi-final and won with the British 4 x 100 -meter relay.
