Montell Jordan

Montell Jordan Du'Sean ( born December 3, 1968 in Los Angeles, California) is an American R & B singer, producer and songwriter. He has been active since the end of 2010 exclusively as a pastor in Atlanta.

Work

Singer

Montell Jordan was the second artist to be taken at the record label Def Jam under contract. In 2003, he split from Def Jam and is now working with the label TBN together. After graduating from Pepperdine University in California in Communication Studies in 1995 he had his first hit with This Is How We Do It, which is a number -one hit was straight away. This was followed by Somethin ' 4 Da Honeyz and Let's Ride (1998) and Get It On Tonite (1999). In 2003 he left Def Jam and joined for his sixth solo album, Life After Def on Koch Records. In 2008, the album Let It Rain at Universal was published. End of 2010, Jordan announced his intention to end his musical career.

Producer and actor

He is also a producer for other artists, including Christina Milian and Sisqó. He had cameo appearances in the films The Fighting Temptations and The Nutty Professor. He also participated in the Shadows of Motown Standing in the documentation.

Pastor

In November 2010 it was announced that Jordan finish his career as a musician and will operate in the future only as a pastor in the World Victory Church in a suburb of Atlanta.
