Montenegrin presidential election, 2013

The presidential election in Montenegro in 2013 was held on 7 April 2013. The amitierende President Filip Vujanović of the Demokratska Partija Socijalista Crne Gore kicked Miodrag Lekić of the Democratic Front, a coalition of the parties to campaign for change and the New Serbian Democracy on. Vujanović was already before the elections as favorite. It strives to achieve rapprochement with the European Union and NATO. Lekić accused him of having enriched themselves through corruption. There were 511 405 eligible voters. Vujanović finally prevailed with 51.21 % against challenger Lekić with 48.79 %.
