Monty Holmes

The country singer Monty Holmes (* in Lubbock, Texas) began in 1994 as a songwriter. He wrote, among other things, George Strait, John Michael Montgomery and Lee Ann Womack. Some of his songs could be placed in the country Top Ten. In 1998 he received a contract with the newly founded label Bang II Records. In the same year the CD All I Ever Wanted was produced, which was based largely on selbstgeschriebenem material.

The record company survived only a year. Together with Jeff Hale, Charlie Harrison and Billy Hillman founded Holmes then the group Monty & The Pytons. In 2002, the album Real Thing was released.
