Morag (loch monster)

Mhorag [ vɔrak ] (Gaelic: Spirit of the lake), also Morag or Maggie, is the name of a sea monster plesiosaurierähnlichen you want in Loch Morar, Scotland, allegedly live.

Description

He is described as six to nine meters long plesiosaur with humps, and thus has great resemblance to the Loch Ness monster on.

Alleged sightings

Mhorag has been since January 1887 about 30 times observed, inter alia:

  • September 1958: Dr. George Cooper sighted the monster and created a drawing of him.
  • April 1971: Ewan Gillies and his son John watched from the shore, the sea monster, as it floated through the Loch Morar. According to their description Mhorag was about 6 feet long, carrying a small head, which was not thicker than his long, slender neck, and had two or three humps on their backs. They photographed it, but was in the pictures not unusual to see.
