Morgan is a place and county seat of Morgan County in the state of Utah.

History

The name of the place as well as the Morgan County of Morgan Jededia Grant has received a leader of the Mormon Church. The town was settled in 1855, years before the county was established in 1862. In the village there are a Morgan old railway station of the transcontinental railroad line that ran through Morgan County. The beginnings of the railway line through Morgan County going back to the year 1864. The station was closed in 1982, but will continue to be used as a visitor center.
