Mount Arafat

ʿ Arafat (Arabic عرفات ) is a level around 20 km south-east of Mecca, which takes place in the central ritual of the Islamic Hajj pilgrimage. History

The Wuquf on ʿ Arafa day has pre-Islamic origins.
