Mount Hotaka (Nagano, Gifu)

The Hotaka -dake (Japanese穂 高 岳) is a mountain range in the Hida Mountains of the Japanese Alps, which runs along the boundary of the prefectures of Nagano and Gifu. The highest point of the mountain, the Okuhotaka -dake is, with 3190 m after the Fuji and the Kita- dake is the third highest peak in Japan.
