Mount Langya

The Langya Mountains (琅邪 山/琅琊山others; Pinyin: Langya Shan ) is a mountain range in the southwest of the circle Chuzhou in Anhui province. The mountain is named after the first emperor of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, Sima Rui ( Jin Yuandi ), the king / prince ( wang ) of Langya (琅邪 王) named.

In addition to the Buddhist Langya Temple ( Langya si) is located there and the Daoist Bixia Monastery ( Bixia gong ), where Chinese reportedly is celebrated annually by 50,000 Taoists on the ninth day of the first month according to the traditional Chinese lunar calendar is the birthday of the Jade Emperor.
