Mount Muhabura

The Muhabura (also Muhavura ) is a volcanic mountain on the border of Rwanda and Uganda and is part of the Virunga chain. With 4,127 m is the Muhabura the third highest of the eight Virunga volcanoes. The mountain is within the Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda and to a lesser extent in the Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in Uganda. For tourists, the mountain is served by Ugandan side. At the top there is a small crater lake.
