Mount Smart

Mount Smart is one of the volcanoes of the Aucklandfeldes. The cinder cone was once 87 meters high, it rose 57 m above the surrounding countryside. On it stood a Pā Māori, who called him Rarotonga. The hill has been largely eroded by quarries, in its place now stands the stadium Mount Smart Stadium.
