Mouse Genome Informatics

Mouse Genome Informatics ( MGI ) is an online database in which the most important information to be collected (Mus musculus) on the genome and the metabolism of the house mouse and made ​​freely available. The stated aim is to facilitate with this information, the study of the human body and its diseases. MGI is operated by the Jackson Laboratory, one financed by the U.S. government independent non-profit health center that simultaneously operates a world-renowned laboratory mice.

The MGI - integrated website, for genes sorted, information about genetics, gene expression and metabolic pathways of individual mouse proteins, as well as data from cancer research and other fields. This information is provided by sub-projects, which are also funded by the state.
