Company History

Mouser Electronics was founded in 1964 in El Cajon, California, by Jerry Mouser. Jerry Mouser was a physics teacher, the electronic components for his teaching at the high school required. Because these were hard to get in small quantities, he founded his own company. In 1983, his company to Mansfield, Texas. In January 2000 Mouser Electronics, a wholly owned subsidiary of TTI, Inc. of Fort Worth, Texas.
