Moussa Latoundji

Moussa Latoundji ( born August 13, 1978 in Porto -Novo ) is a former Beninese football player.

Association

Latoundji changed in the summer of 1998 from FC Metz to Germany for second division side FC Energie Cottbus. On the third Round of the season 1998/99 he gave his debut in German professional football as coach Eduard Geyer einwechselte him at the home game against SpVgg Greuther Fürth in the 87th minute. He completed 18 games in his first season and scored his first goal in the penultimate round. At the start of the following season 1999/2000 he was set as a regular player and scored a goal each in the first two games. Through a red card on matchday Latoundji had three games pause, but then stood back in the starting and achieved up to 14 Matchday four more hits. The next Matchday he broke his metatarsal and only came back end of April 2000 for the first team to use. In the last season game against 1.FC Cologne Latoundji was 90 minutes on the pitch and fought with the team a 2-0 victory the initial rise of Cottbus in the Bundesliga.

In the first Erstligasaison Latoundji played 26 times. In the last game in which Cottbus secured by a victory over TSV 1860 Munich in the league, he retired to a torn ACL. After recovering Latoundji on playing 25 league games in the season 2002 /03. On 29 Matchday he scored his first and only Bundesliga goal in the home game against Borussia Mönchengladbach. In the first game after the second division relegation Latoundji achieved at the beginning of the game to score and moved shortly thereafter to initiate a tear of the medial collateral ligament, so that it failed due to an injury three weeks again. National

Latoundji selection was player of the Benin national team. He took part in the African Cup of Nations 2004, Benin. Benin lost all three group matches and was Group Last. Latoundji it scored the only goal of his team.

Coach

Moussa Latoundji has a coach -B license. For the season 2007/ 08 he was the assistant coach for the second team of FC Ludwig fields on the sidelines. From 2010 to 2011 Latoundji was coach at USS Kraké in the Championnat National du Beni and previously had been player-manager of AS Dragons FC de l' Ouémé.
