Moving Shadow

Moving Shadow was a British drum -and- bass label, which was active from 1990 to 2007.

The label was founded in 1990 by DJ Rob Playford and developed with over 200 releases on vinyl and CD 40 on one of the most extensive of the genre. From initial breakbeat label went on to Jungle and evolved into contemporary drum and bass. It entertained several sub-labels and supplied the soundtracks for two PlayStation games. One focus of the label were jazzy and atmospheric tracks.

Well-known artists were Omni Trio, EZ Rollers, Aquasky, Dom & Roland, Cloud 9, Noisia and Calyx.
