The MSC Sinfonia is a cruise ship in the MSC Cruises. It was built in 2002 for the Italian shipping company Festival Cruises, it took under the name European Stars in operation and as well as her sister ship built in 2001 European Vision (now MSC Armonia ) operating up to their bankruptcy in 2004. Other similarly designed ships, MSC Lirica and MSC Opera as well as the shorter Costa neoRiviera of Costa Crociere, which was also built for Festival Cruises under the name Mistral.

On 16 July 2004, the Italian shipping company MSC took over the ship and renamed it to its current name MSC Sinfonia. The MSC Sinfonia is mainly used for cruises in the Mediterranean, but also to South America.

From 12 January to 16 March 2015, the MSC Sinfonia is to be extended by the Italian shipyard Fincantieri to 275 m and equipped with modern technology and new ways to entertain guests. As part of the so-called " Renaissance " program of the shipping company is, both at her, as well as all other ships of the Lirica Class, the maximum permitted number of passengers increased by about 200 additional cabins to 2680.
