Mściwojów
Mściwojów ( German Profen ) is a village in the powiat Jaworski in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, Poland. Mściwojów is also the seat of the municipality of the same country.

Geography
Mściwojów located 6 km east of the town of Jawor, and 55 km west of Wroclaw. Through the town, the river attracts Wierzbiak.
History
The first mention of the village date from the second half of the 13th century.
By 1945 Profen was a municipality in the district Jawor, district Liegnitz the province of Silesia.
From 1975 to 1998 Gmina Mściwojów belonged to the Province of Legnica.

Geography
The municipality covers an area of Mściwojów 71.83 km ² of which 88 % is used for agriculture. 3% of the municipal area is wooded. Approx. 4 km south of the village is situated the former concentration camp Gross-Rosen.

Education
The municipality has three primary schools ( szkoła podstawowa ) and a middle school ( gimnazjum ).
