Mudry CAP 230

The Cap 232 is an aerobatic airplane that was developed by the Frenchman Auguste Mudry. After its bankruptcy in 1996, the aircraft was acquired by Akrotech Europe, to which the company in 1999, renamed the CAP Aviation. The cap 232 has also been used in the Red Bull Air Race. It is a single-seater with a hull in wood construction, carbon fiber wings and three-bladed propeller. Starting point for the development of the CAP- 232 was the Piel CP -30 Emeraude in the 1960s. This was followed by their predecessors, the CAP 10, CAP 20, CAP -21, CAP 230, CAP 231 and CAP- 231EX. The first flight of CAP- 232 in April 1996.
