Municipality of Hrpelje–Kozina

Hrpelje - Kozina (Italian Erpelle - Cosina, German Herpelle - Gossendorf ) is a municipality in the region of Primorska, Slovenia, just east of the Italian port city of Trieste.

Made up of 39 villages and hamlets total municipality has approximately 4187 inhabitants.

Between 1883 and 1887 the Hrpelje web has been built a railway line of 27 km length, from Trieste to Hrpelje. It was planned as a section to Vienna. In 1960 the line was closed. Today, a portion of which may be used as a bike path.
