Kiama is located in the east of the state on the Pacific coast in the region Illawarra about 115 km south of the city of Sydney and 230 km northeast of the Australian capital Canberra. There are 25 districts and towns: Beachside, Bombo, Broughton Village, Budderoo, Carrington Falls, Curramore, Foxground, Gainsborough, Gerringong, Gerroa, Jamberoo, Jerrara, Kiama, Kiama Downs, Kiama Heights, Kiama South, Knights Hill, Minnamurra, Omega, Riversdale, Rose Valley, Saddleback Mountain, Werri Beach, Willow Vale, and a part of Toolijooa. The seat of the Shire Council is located in the coastal town of Kiama, where about 12,300 inhabitants.

Management
