Murat Sözgelmez

Murat Sözgelmez ( born August 21, 1985 in Izmir) is a Turkish football player.

Career

Association

Sözgelmez played in the youth of Altay Izmir. In the season 2004/ 05 was appointed to the first team. He completed only four games and moved free transfer before the season 2005 /06 to Sivasspor. There he was still up to the 2008/09 season regulars, but since then it is usually only a substitute.

In summer 2012, he joined the Turkish second division Karşıyaka SK, but he already left during the winter break. For the second half of the season 2011/12 he moved within the league to Çaykur Rizespor.

In the 2012/13 season he was with the club runners and thus rose to the Süper Lig. However Sözgelmez remained in the TFF 1 Lig and changed for the new season to newly promoted Balikesirspor.

National

Sözgelmez was nominated again for the second selection of the Turkish national team during his time at Sivasspor and came in this game against the second guard of Ukraine on his international debut.
