Muros, A Coruña

Muros is a municipality and a town in the Spanish province of A Coruña, in the autonomous region of Galicia in northern Spain. It is located about 60 km west of Santiago de Compostela on the northern coast of the fjord-like incision Ría de Muros e Noia. The municipality comprises the towns Abelleira, Esteiro, Louro, Muros, Serres, valley and Torea.

History

As in many areas of Galicia are also around Muros finds from the Stone Age, a testament to the long colonization of the region. Particularly noteworthy are the petroglyphs (stone sign ) of the parallax Rodas and the Cova da Bruxa located in the mountains above the city. Economy
