Murray Schisgal

Murray Schisgal ( born November 25, 1926 in New York City ) is an American author, screenwriter and playwright.

Life

Schisgal was born the son of Lithuanian immigrants. Already in his youth he began to write, he achieved fame but only some time later with his plays " Tipse - Tipser " (The Typists ) and "The Tiger" (1960), which were successfully staged on Broadway. Since the 1960s, he also wrote screenplays such as " What About Love," " Boys and Girls" and " Tootsie ."
