Musashino Art University
The Academy Musashino (Japanese武 蔵 野 美术 大学, Musashino Bijutsu Daigaku, Eng. Musashino Art University ) is an art school in Kodaira.
It was in October 1929 as Imperial Art Academy (帝国 美术 学校, Teikoku Bijitsu Gakko, Eng. Teikoku Art School ) was founded. In 1935, the Imperial Academy of Arts Tama was spun off, which corresponds to the present-day art school Tama.
In December 1948, she took on its current name.
In 1963 she participated as a founding member of the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris.
